So, does snogging actually count as exercise? It's one of those great questions of life, such as: why do 'flammable' and 'inflammable' mean the same thing? And why do you never see baby pigeons?
Well, it's bad news, I'm afraid...I've enlisted the opinion of an expert in the field, who says:
'Snogging is fun and exercise can be fun. But for
exercise to promote health it needs to regularly involve
larger muscle groups, like the legs, for sustained periods of
time. Try disco dancing'.
Professor Neil Armstrong, Director of the Children's Health and Exercise Research Centre, University of Exeter.
Drat! I'd better get dancing instead...
And does glitter count as camouflage? I couldn't find any eminent glitter experts so I am going to guess that no, it doesn't. Unless you are trying to hide in a glitter shop.
(Of course, the title is not meant to be taken literally. The title actually refers to the makeovers that take place in the book - Poppy puts up a physical facade and Holly puts up an emotional facade. And they both learn that their facades are not necessarily the best thing...)
What about secrets and sabotage? Well, the final book of the series deals with what happens when all those apparently simple secrets get complicated...
